Club meeting Praha - Brno
May 16. - 17., 2025
This weekend, after a long time, we met up with the sisters from Brno halfway in Pardubice, where we visited the local monument Automatic Mills together, among other things. And even though the weather was not entirely kind to us, our meeting was joyful. We hope that this will become a beautiful tradition.
Walk to support the non-profit organization Nedoklubko

The president of our club, Jana Šolcová, initiated participation in the charity project of the non-profit organization NEDOKLUBKO, which helps families of premature babies – the March for Babies in the Palm. It was agreed that our members would participate in the walk for the NNO Nedoklubko with a registration fee of CZK 5,000, which will be a donation from the club to this non-profit organization.

Our trip to Bulgaria
28.3. – 1.4. 2025
Six of our members (Alice, Anička, Bety, Canka, Ivana, Zuzka), accompanied by 2 husbands left on the invitation of the SI clubs Sofia and Plovdiv to Bulgaria. Our hosts prepared an interesting program, including visits to the most important cultural monuments in both places. The evening meetings were also pleasant. We found out how very active our Bulgarian colleagues are in organizing educational programs for themselves and other Balkan clubs.

We welcomed among us the respected journalist Ms. Judita Matyášová, who mainly presents in Lidové noviny and in the magazine Vlasta. We listened to the life story of Milada Horáková, who was also involved in the magazine Vlasta and was also proactive in the beginnings of the women's movement in our country. We will greatly appreciate the mutual cooperation and presentation of our club, for example, about the project New Home-New Beginning.
We donate to those in need
Our annual social event "A Glass of Wine", held on November 27th, 2024 with dear guests actress M. Steinmasslová and choreographer Z. Prokeš, brought us not only a pleasant evening, but also financial profit, which we decided to donate to 2 places - traditionally to our friendly institution ACORUS in the amount of CZK 36.550, and to Mrs. Rabinská, whose appartment was severely damaged by the floods in September 2024, in the amount of CZK 36.200. We wish both of them good use.
